Ever wonder how successful stay successful?

The answer is…they practice Good Habits. If you search the World Wide Web :) you’ll find hundreds of articles and books about success, good habits, processes and routines.
Today, I want to share with you some of the things that I’ve learned over the years that help me have good days! Now, don’t get me wrong, not all my days go this way, but the well accomplished, low stress, and happy momma days sure do!
We are in the first week of 2022, It’s Monday…let’s own our day!
1. Wake up Early
This is the hardest one for me, because my kids are usually my alarm. However, I’ve noticed on the days I Wake up before them, I’m able to accomplish more. I have time to read, enjoy a cup of coffee, check e-mails, I mean Instagram (who am I kidding :))
2. Get Dressed for the day
Looking good makes your feel good. And feeling good makes you motivated…to do more! Wake up, Make up, and Dress Up!
3. Read
My favorite mornings include a cup of coffee and a devotional. This is my enrichment for the day. It nourishes me and helps me have a positive day
4. Plan your day
Having a planner has changed my life! It helps me keep track of the kids school, activities, events etc. It also helps me stay organized and focused on our families priorities. I have a planner for our meals, daily life, and for work!
5. Enjoy Quiet Time
This is a MUST…make this a DAILY priority. For me, my quiet time is my drive to and from work. It’s when I listen to calming, instrumental music, or sometimes nothing at all. The drive to and from work is sometimes my favorite. Why? Because I love my chaos, but I also need time to rejuvenate. Sometimes I need to clear my head, I need to think about my day, prepare for things to do, and make sure I don’t miss anything. The Details of everyday life require detailed thinking and planning. And the only way to do it is by taking a little time to yourself.
This should work for just about anyone, in any facet of life, not just busy mommas, like me!
I hope this helps your own your day! I sure have better days when I do all of these things daily.
xoxo
