A Letter to my 20's

Writer's picture: JoannaJoanna

What a wonderful 10 years you have been!

The first year was game changer! College almost complete, a new job, and a stronger heart! I learned failure, and learned how to come out of it.

You know when they tell you, always listen to your mom, cuz one day you'll realize she was right?

Yep...that was 20! Mamma's always right

21 - You were my hardest year!

This is my Dad, the Summer before he passed away

I lost a huge part of my life this year. But 21 -

You taught me courage, strength, and bondage. You showed me what it's like to have everything one day, and lose it all hours later.

22 - You helped me heal. Inner pain, Inner damage, Inner burden, you somehow in the midst of a rough time, you kept me all together

23

You were the BEST year of my life

This handsome dude came my way and life was never the same

We were long-dstance friends for about a year, got engaged 4 days after meeting

And Got Married 8 months later

25

We built out First Home

26

The best things in life were yet to come

My Dream Come True...My baby Girl
Motherhood - Where have you been all my life?

Have you ever felt your heart be so much in love that you can't find the words to explain the feeling?

That's what my baby girl brought me...

My heart was full-overfull; so full I thought it would explode
It is an unexplainable, different kind of love- a love that I wish upon every person who desires it - motherhood

28

Pregnant????

Again???

Yep, that was us. 11 months later, our joy doubled and we Welcomed the most precious little boy in the whole world. Irish Twins they call it...and the best thing that ever happened to me.

And so my dear 20's...

Thank you for teaching me so much

About Faith - About People -About Life

Thank you teaching me LOVE,

Forgiveness, and how to let go

Thank you for putting the best people in my life

And teaching me how to treasure the ones that mean the most to me

Thank you for giving me the best opportunities and teaching me how to judge the good ones from the bad. Thank you for taking away what wasn't for me, and bringing me everything that was for me.

You have been the best years of my life...

30 here I come
