2021 Goals

Resolution is a tough word for me, so I haven't made any for a while. I feel like it's a rule that you make for yourself and have to follow...which can be hard!

But 2020 was tough...in many aspects of my life, there were unexpected circumstances that were endured!

So, this year, I decided to set some goals/reminders for myself...

I call them goals because it's something I want to strive toward and achieve.

  1. Worry Less...

I am a worrier...most of what I worry about are things that are so far beyond my control

So, my goal is to remind myself to only care for matters and to do a better job managing the controllable, which is ME!

2. Commit to Good Health

I am such a foodie...I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good meal. However, I have to work towards cutting out the junk (chocolate, bread and more bread...oh and cookies)

I've been pretty unhappy with my body lately (and yes, I know I just had a baby) but honestly, since she's still nursing, I use that as an excuse to eat something I could do without

So, I figured instead of constantly griping about it, I should make a change.

I suscribed to the Sweat app, to get myself back on a workout schedule, so, I'm hoping to stick to it

3. Plan my days better

I must say having the kids at home has been easy, but even with that I feel like I am so all over the place and struggle completing my tasks. I have such a small window in the morning before I go to work to do everything that by the time I leave for work, I feel like I ran a marathon. So, I was to start using my time wisely

I want to start writing down my tasks so between the kids going back to school and my crazy work hours, I can prioritize better and maybe even prep ahead of time, so I can spend more time with the kids

4. Be more Present

This goes a little hand in hand with the whole planning thing. When I'm with my family I want to be WITH my family. Between mommy-ing, wife-ing, working and blogging, I want to make my time with my family more fruitful to where I'm not pulling myself away to answer a call from work, or, check my Instagram...

Most Important of all...

5. Enhancing my Faith

This is a constant work in progress for me. I want to work on understanding what I read when I read the Bible. For me, my faith is the most important thing I have, so I want to make this my number 1 priority this year.

Thanks for reading and as always thanks for being part of my journey!
